Toyota Camry Commercials & Drunken Sailor
I kept hearing the tune Drunken Sailor, coming from my television, so I finally caught the source. I normally don't actually watch the TV most of the time, but listen to it as I do my thing on the computer. Well, it would seem the source is Toyota Camry commercials. I have to ask the question, "why are they using this theme?" Are they trying to entice the nautical minded? Are they trying to attract drunks? Or, are they just relying on the ignorance of the public to not recognize the tune? I'm inclined to believe the latter, and figure they are laughing at the public's lack of cognizance. Its amazingly inappropriate music for something that should be viewed as safe.

havent been around for awhile...
& yeah..isnt that the usual trend everywhere these days..Cammoufalge bad music with 'interesting' videos . & that 'interesting' spells the same way as my detrimental blogscene, coz I know I am no writer of sorts, but I still like going crazy at times... & boy! it does unwind one...]So perhaps I can see why they go on producing them...coz they know ppl enjoy crazy things at times.Some of the worst music tops the charts these days & I find ppl listening to it more & more just because one wants to imagine whether something cud be worse than this!...
seems the same case scenario everywhere around...NOW I believe that we truly ae going Global...
Cheers...we finally belong together & have discovered unity in diversity with bad-music- good/bad- videos...
on a more serious note...it is business...quick fix music videos...[ who has the time for composing symphonies...beethoven & mozart are dead anyway...]
1. If The music is bad..it will attract attention...its different
2. videos are worse...again because they are different
The bottom line is getting publicity...for isnt it a known fact that publicity, whether good or bad, always pays...

You feel they are laughing at public ignorance...I feel they are just enchashing on public's 'willing suspension of disbelief'.How else would TV serials like 'The Bold & the Beautiful' be running for decades , where ppl are shown comming out of their graves, not just once but again & again.
The bottom line for them is getting eyeballs & eardrums & whatever else...whether it is through remixes or reincarnations.

Of course I'm stupid. I'm human. I was merely wondering if I my comments were sounding "blonde" in the stereotypical way.
As for your son's thinking I looked like Brad Pitt, I don't know what he means. If he meant that I use my eyes as Mr. Pitt does, I suppose that is possible. If he meant that I resemble Mr. Pitt, I think that perhaps you should seek the services of a good Ophthalmologist, he may need eye correction.
As far as my throwing a light on something, I will refrain, someone could get hurt or it might cause a short circuit.
