55 Flash Fiction - She Doesn't Know
She's taken more than any man could ever take. Her heart is so pure, so loving, and she sometimes feels like a bother.
I reassure that she is what she so obviously is, in long conversations, their tangents and returns. She seems to need those.
She doesn't know it is I, who am dependent.

She must be a little slow in the head.Or perhaps naive. And ( if you would excuse my saying so) perhaps a little petulant too!
That dependency creeps up on you. An excellent and thoughtful 55. Enjoyed that.
I think it's sweet. I know exactly what you're saying.

very enjoyable.
smiles,
p.s. tell her...
Well I DON'T KNOW... tHIS IS WONDERFULLY WRITTEN ANYWAY...
Mona,
She's neither slow or naive, rather she seems to have lower self-esteem than she should, way lower than she should. As far as petulance is concerned, not enough that it bothers me.
Anthony,
You're correct, it creeped up on me before I knew it. Thanks.
Snow,
Sweet? I hadn't thought about it like that, but you may well know what I'm talking about.
Jessie,
Thanks, I think she may have a clue now.
Dulce,
That first line is a quote from my own life. Thanks for the second.
Thoughtful 55.
Isn't it always like that? We feel insecure ourselves and don't always realize the other person is feeling just as insecure.

a lot of women are feeling this very same thing in real life, very well put in 55 words.
CJ,
Insecurity sucks, I know from firsthand experience. I'm not sure which is worse, it or the overcompensation for it.
C&C,
Believe it or not men feel it, too. We're taught not to share things like that though. Women share all their feelings... eventually anyway.
