55 Flash Fiction - Tim & Sal #26
Tim: "Its bright out there, sunshine, reflections from the water, the sand, light refracting from the sky. Yet you're displaying a darkness that seems to emanate from you like light shines from a candle, casting a shadow around, against, above, and below everything in sight."
Sal: "Even sunspots appear dark against the sun's surface."

Ok...like my sister often says... you can justify almost anything....
I saw that news article about the reappearance of sun spots recently...which may mean end of droughts and thereby of recession...
So those sun spots may actually be bright!
A deep one today. Loved that last line.
Mona,
The fact is sunspots are bright, but they are cooler than the surface behind them, so they just look dark in comparison to the rest of the sun. They are still very hot, fiery, and incandescently luminous.
Anthony,
Thanks. Sometimes the pursuit of happiness must be taken seriously.
So then I wont dive into any sunspots anytime soon ok?
Hope all is well Charles. I dont blog much anymore just stopping by to say hi!
Be Well!
for everything that appears light, there is always a dark side...
enjoyed the post, Charles.
thank you Mona for stopping by my blogspot. please come again often.
:-)
