55 Flash Fiction Friday #5
He told her that he loved her more than life itself.
It seemed he'd loved her forever.
Life is too short not to.
She was just as wonderful as he had thought that she could be.
Smart, beautiful, kind, giving, confident, the embodiment of all that he had hoped that anybody could be.
His daughter.

That's beautiful, Charles. Kudos!
WOW! That is just beautiful!
A wonderful Tribute to Sarah!!
Don't forget to tell her to read that! :)
What a beautiful tribute to your beautiful daughter, Charles!!!
Ah beautiful!
Mine's up too.
what every daughter wants to hear from her daddy.
Oh that was so sweet! Sorry Im just getting around ....Osama bin Waldo, lol!
Have a great weekend!
*sniffles* I wish my father would say that about me... Oh, wait. He does! *grins*
Lovely, Charles!
Oh wow, how did I miss commenting on this post?
SJ,
Thank you, as you can probably guess, this comes from the heart.
Mona,
Thanks. I'm not sure, but I think she reads my blog even if she doesn't comment.
Little Wing,
She deserves every bit of praise she gets from me.
Akelamalu,
She's the best of both her mother and I, seems she managed to avoid the worst parts of each and become the best of the three of us.
Lime,
Its completely true, there's no way she'd hear any different.
Susie,
My daughter is so sweet, too.
The Where's Waldo paradigm seemed to fit my other 55.
Smarmoofus,
I'm glad to know I'm not the only dad blessed with the child that doesn't disappoint. :)
That was so sweet, I hope she gets to read it.
My father had three daughters, not sure he always felt blessed!!
Queenie,
I'm sure that your father was blessed to have his daughters, whether he felt blessed is another matter. Any father who doesn't just hasn't any idea what his life could have been like. I know mine would not have been so rich or satisfying, and it probably would have been shorter, too.
Sweetest post ever!
That's really sweet...and a great 55FF to boot! :)
Here via Topcat. I like the flash fiction, it struck a chrord. I wanted to comment in support of the bumper sticker, but the raging debate which follwoed it overwhelemed me! So I'll say here that I like it, even though it gives me the creeps to even see the initials GWB.
What an endearing blog! Made my heart go pitter patter ;o)
CS,
Thanks, the FF comes from the heart.
You don't have to read all the comments to make a comment. Always feel free to comment, whether or not anyone else has or not. I enjoy the company. GWB should give us the creeps, someone who thinks so little of the American people that he's driving our economy to hell, devaluing the dollar and responsible for more killing than Bin Laden was, should creep anybody out. He claims to want freedom for Iraqis and he works every angle he can to eliminate our's. I have little respect for him as a person.
Jillie,
I love my daughter, what more can I say? I think she's close to perfect in every way.
As a daughter, it's so sweet, many brownies from me!! I even have brownies for you on my site! :DD
