Satyrs ? half men & half goats waist down!
I remember that Satyrs were symbolic of men, who were 'animals' waist down, suggesting lust that rules the lower part of the body.

On second thoughts, i think Centaurs must be the most perfect example of a Chimera....( Next only to Sphinx of Egypt of course :D)
What exactly does this refer to. The angels (khrub) in Ezekiel's vision, having human/ox/eagle/lion parts?

You know more of it than I would have thought, not that I think you wouldn't know anything, but rather I would think you would shirk such learning. To answer, yes, human and ox and eagle(oh, and angles.)
Well, that's better than saying chimera creatures of mythology are undisputable proof of aliens....
