55 Flash Fiction - Tim & Sal #5
"So when do you want to return home?" queried Sal.
"When mankind has grown-up, or wiped itself out."
"Fortunately, we do have Extra Light Speed travel, or we can put you into storage, your choice."
"I always liked travel."
"The people of Galaxy Orbiting Deletion will welcome you, they have visited your world for millennia."

You have to love the beneficent, who respect the wishes of others and endeavor to help. Sal (at some point, I'll have to expand on the name) is in my mind one of those.
I guess nobody noticed my acronym...
Ciara,
Is it the 55s or is it that my mind is a little different than most? ;)
Mona,
It could take forever our species to grow-up which would mean a long travel, then again, we may destroy our world (or at least mankind) later today, which a trip around the moon might take longer.
Snow,
Either choice would mean that Tim would experience new things, but travel is probably better, since the loss of consciousness might make him feel like he missed something. Nice to see you, too. Congrats on the new place, and the new freedom.
