Did you know this about Blogger?
Did you know that if you publish your post, and weren't yet ready, (you could do that by trying to type an uppercase P, and accidentally hitting control instead of shift) you can depublish it? From the Edit Posts, open the post, then simply press Ctrl+S (which is save as draft.) Voila! Its no longer published, and its saved without deleting it.

yep, figured that out quite accidentally rather a while ago
Lime,
It was rather rhetorical, but I guess since I asked, I'd best be prepared for answers. You're too sharp, too smart, the kids have ground you to an edge, run you over a whet stone and stropped you all too well. ;)
I could never have figured that out!
AND I will try my level best to remember that...

Mona,
You're funny. But remember it.
Well that's good to know...WHEW!! I think they do that for people like me that no matter how hard I try, I just can't get computer savvy...but that's ok. I can do what I need to do and I'm happy with that!
;o)
This is interesting, Charles. And very useful; I've had to delete a few posts because I forgot to put in titles and they ended up getting published with links that were created from the first few words of the post instead of the title (which is how I prefer it). If I'd known about this, I think I would have got the same results by simply un-publishing, editing and republishing.
NGAC,
This is one of the more useful tips I've posted. Preview is good, but actually seeing the post on the page is better. If you have preformatted code, say, and want to see if its going to get tucked under the sidebar, for example.
