55 Flash Fiction - Dogs of Justice
Desperate to stop the madness around him, he had to stop long enough to think. A foreign national, with strong ties back to his country of origin known for its dishonesty, inhumanity and corruption in charge of company security?
He contemplated how to set the dogs of justice upon the former sniper. An anonymous email.

See? there IS some solution. When all doors seem to be closed, there are still some cracks below them, to let the breath in or breath out...
Justice will be meted out eventually. If not by our hands then by Karma or the invisible power of balancing the acts...
In my country there is a saying" Us ki laathi be awaaz hai" Meaning : His whip will not make even a sound when it will descends; that is it will catch you unaware...
Then again, there is another beautiful saying : " Thus spake The Holy One: If We create the world with just Mercy; sin shall abound. If We create it will Justice. the world shall perish. So We create it with both Justice and Mercy, and may it thus endure."
Heart wrenching 55 Charles... (((HUGS)))
Mona,
Personally, I prefer letting the karma come. Here we have a saying, "Give 'em enough rope, and they'll hang themselves." God knows what justice should be meted out, I'll leave it to God.
PS. I'd just like to hear about it. I'm sure that I will, eventually.
I to believe in Karma, it is just the waiting around for it to happen that gets to me. Thank you for your wonderful 55 words Charles.
What goes around comes around - especially emails!
Mine's up too.
If we know nothing else, we know that there is Karmic justice. That's a very intriguing 55, Charles.
Charles...?
I smell a continuing theme maybe?
Anyway, great job, and thanks for playing!!!
G
Karma ALWAYS works. I like it better when it's good karma though.
And Mona's saying gave me chills just thinking about it.
Have a great weekend, Charles!!! :)

Queenie,
You certainly have that right. You're welcome to anything I have to share.
Akelamalu,
Thus my waiting for karma to kick in.
SJ,
Let's hope that it is swift and fitting. Thanks.
G,
I haven't been consciously carrying a theme, so I'm at a loss as to the connection you may be seeing, so feel free to point it out to me. Thanks, the 55s are fun, and can even be therapeutic.
Snow,
In order for karma to actually work, wouldn't the person have to be aware of why it comes, and learn from it, that is, adjust behavior? I'm afraid in my context, it probably works less often than it just punishes, kind of like the American justice system.
