I guess that is the case with most of us... We all are an amalgam of complexities, that too in flux...that is why perhaps not so easy to grasp.Only hard facts can be grasped, not subtlities...

But then on other hand, I think I shud'nt be, knowing that ppl do change...
Perhaps that is why it is so hard for me to delve into the past & find root causes for my state of mind...Because pat has no obligation to conform to the present, even though it might have contributed to its being.
Though recollecting the pleasent moments are a real breather!! :)
& then there are moments, when I want to say it all...but doing that publically reqires a lot of courage.
I guess you do the wisest thing of not giving out your address in a way, otherwise you might be bludgeoned with a lot of 'sob stories' :D

Hehe. So many comments I didn't see until this morning. So MUCH to see as funny.
OK, first the comment about who I look like. I've been hearing stories of having been seen here or there since I was in highschool. They weren't me of course. I even had someone tell me I looked just like one of their relatives, (who since has passed on, BTW). But personally, I've yet to have met anyone that looks like me, including my brother who people used to say we looked alike. He got the Korean looks of my mother, I got the Spanish look of my dad, although there is some mixing there, I'm talking dominant traits.
I'm surprised anyone could think I look like any actor, since they are usually exceptionally good looking while I am not.

Dan, thank you, its flattering, and I assure you to my knowledge there's no Italian in the mix.
Mona, my picture is quite static, perhaps its guilt? hehe. My anger does not flare as it did in my youth, instead I reserve it only for self-defense. I don't think I need to defend myself here. My adam's apple only hurts when someone thumps it(its been decades) or when I try to sing. In the latter case it is not I who it hurts, unless you count the embarassment. Typos? I thought you did that on purpose. :) At least I don't see you transposing they're/their/there, like others seem to do. Americans, so many english speakers, so few english writers.

& what if it is the dreams[ nightmares] that keep you awake?
Nightmares have never been a problem for me. I think I may have had 1 dream that was close, but I have never had scary dreams. Perhaps because I fear little, perhaps because I learned to control my dreams, probably the latter.
Disturbed.
You shud see my nightmares [ wish that was possible] you will be horrified. Sometimes I murder my father & bury him in my bedroom, Sometimes my mother buries me alive, sometimes I find that I have awakened from a coma & find myself already buried being taken for as dead.Sometimes I find myself atop buildings that are wobbling in an earthquake & the steps have already gone. Sometimes I am followed by Wild animals, sometimes ppl try to kill me by bashing my head with huge boulders. Sometimes I see blood & gore splattered..& all the dead ppl from my life very disturbed & with half limbs gone..The most disturbing dream is when I see the death of my son...then I cant sleep for days...

Yes indeed, I don't like what people do to others, especially when the horrors are to the ones they "love".

It sounds as if you need either to address the root cause of these nightmares, or learn to control your dreams. Lucid dreaming isn't difficult at all, I learned when I was about 16. I think that controlling your dreams also changes your perception of your fears. They no longer are irresistable, since you are in control, and that spills into your conscious life. Its something you can do without anyone knowing you are doing it, except you. Your son will be fine, he's obviously smart enough not to get into any situation that might lead to any tragedy. Before you go to sleep, just tell yourself what you want to dream, that's the first step. Once you learn that, you can move to other things, like recognizing when you are dreaming and how you can want something to happen in it, and you will find that it does. You're in control. Want to fly? Then do. Want to say something to someone? Say it. Want the animals chasing you to turn into butterflys? They do. Want to run through a sunlit field of flowers? You can feel the sun. An alternate reality, with you as master.
