55 Flash Fiction - Tim & Sal #19

Tim: "Battlestar Galactica is finished."

Sal: "I haven't watched it, I have merely seen you watching it."

"It was an excellent series, it presented some interesting concepts, like the difference between engineered life and what we are."

"I understand that there will be a prequel series... What is the difference between engineered life and you?"

I guess it has a lower mortality rate. They age faster and die sooner. Dolly, the sheep did...

I wonder whether for humans it would be the same...but possibly it could be. Clones are never known to live long...

The interesting part about biological life is that the more you know, its always less...

Hi Mona,

I suppose that is true for clones from current technology, but I believe they may ultimately exceed our own lifetimes once telomerase is incorporated into the egg cells.

Hi Jessica,

Long time, no see. Being nice to people should be normal, but I'm not completely normal. ;)
