Georgy Porgy

Georgy Porgy, pudding and pie,
Kissed the world and made us die.
When the boys fell down to lay,
Georgy Porgy ran away.

COME OUT TO PLAY
Girls and boys, come out to play,
The moon doth shine as bright as day;
Leave your supper, and leave your sleep,
And come with your playfellows into the street.
Come with a whoop, come with a call,
Come with a good will or not at all.
Up the ladder and down the wall,
A half-penny roll will serve us all.
You find milk, and I’ll find flour,
We could be dead in half an hour.

Hmm. After having done this, it seems it might make a good tag, so to anyone desiring to, here it is: Rewrite a Mothergoose Nursery Rhyme, hundreds may be found at www.mothergoose.com. Extra points for double entendres.

What does this post in full mean?
I clicked on it and it takes me back to the post.

This Mother Goose was fairly easy to pervert. LOL.

CRY, BABY, CRY

Lie, baby, lie,
Stick a poker in your eye,
And tell me again it wasn’t a lie...

Trying again.

COME, LET’S TO BED

“To bed! To bed!”
Sleepy Spoon said,
“Tarry awhile,” says Knife;
“Stoke up the fire,”
And let's retire;
“We’ll fork a bit for dear life.”

Wow SJ,
Way to twist em. Am I mistaken in thinking its a composite from your titled rhyme and 'The Cat and the Fiddle?' I'd not thought to try that. Very creative.
Mona did several in a very short while. She's so funny.
I think
Top Cat
may jump in, since this stuff is just for fun.
I love you guys.

good morning charles, I posted a comment yesterday but it must not have published.

I also chose Humpty Dumpty and this is in honor of all our fallen soldiers on the Memorial weekend

little georgy started a war
little georgy can’t find the door
neither soldiers nor tanks can stop the death
sadly each day another breathes their last breath

TC,
WOW! I love it. That is worthy of much praise, much more than I could find the words to express.
I didn't see any comments from you, so I can't blame its not posting on my end. If I had seen it and it was lost, I would let you know.

Extra points for double entendres? Excellent. By the way, you should get extra points for spelling double entendres correctly. That's a tough one. (I copied and pasted yours. Had I tried myself it would have looked liked double entendras. Or something.)

Ok, this isn't original and it's pretty straight-forwardly risque ( of sorts ). I heard Whoopi Goldberg quote this on 'Hollywood Squares' once:

Georgy Porgy puddin' and pie,
Kissed the girls and made them cry.
When the boys came out to play,
He kissed them too, turns out he was gay!

I found this really funny. I mean, it's not discrimantory or offensive ( is it? I didn't find it to be so ).

Hahaha. I don't know about discriminatory, I would think that would be up to the individual, but what do I know? I'm not gay and don't really have any insight into how anyone thinks other than myself, but I suppose if the person is looking to be insulted, a reason can be found in just recognizing any kind of difference.

Hmm, that is very well put and so very true. There are some people you just can't reason with; they already believe what they believe and there's nothing anyone can do about that.
