I don't remember seeing any here in my life, although I have seen pictures. I have only run into one poisonous snake in the woods here, and it was a water moccasin. I haven't yet run into any rattlesnakes, copperheads, or coral snakes. This was just a post to show Mona, since their venomous snakes are different where she's at.
Charles, ironically, I nearly stepped on a large snake during a long hike on Saturday. I didn't even see it right in the middle of the path. But it was a constricter, a rat snake. Look how brave Laura is.

Yikes! Scary looking bugger. Thankfully, I haven't seen any of those since I was a kid.

eeeeeeee I hate snakes!
**It is poisonous. Avoid it.
however sometimes I think one snake bite is better than a 1000 venomous bites from some ppl that hurt us.
Keshi.
EEEEEEEKKKKKKKSSSSS!!!
Charles!!! You make me think about running away from the blogworld with that creature in it!!!
But then...Why should I be the one running?!!
Quick, give me a stick!! I shall chase it to oblivion and non being!!!
Look at those wrathful eyes & that grumpy look!..It seems all filled with poison and ready to strike anytime!!
Why You! I shall twist your neck & sqeeze that venom out & put it to some better use...like using poison to beat poison!!
& now I read your accompanying text!...It sounds like statutary warning LOL!!

Dan,
Very nice pics. Such a beautiful area, all lush and green. I see you took them with a Canon PowerShot S2 IS, around 10:40 AM.
I don't believe that's a cricket for a minute. :/
Thanks for letting me take a look. I owe you some kindness.
Kindness? You owe me kindness?
I think you're just trying to make me forget about that $25 you owe me.
